Sada Al-Ahdath for Media and Development condemns severly
the abduction of eight Yemeni women in Attuhita directorate /Al-Hodeidah by the forces of the Alliance of Aggressio on 29/7/2018.
This is a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the abduction of women in accordance with the UN Charter and the Fourth Geneva Convention. This crime is an extension of a series of crimes that aggression commits against women by the mercenary forces which services the alliance forces led by the KSA ans UAE regimes .
We, Sada AL-Ahdath condemn the severly these crimes and shamed acts which violate all tribal customs and international humanitarian laws and that would fuel the situation more, and encourage the invaders and their mercenaries to go further and further.
Furthermore, The organization condemns the international silence, and the United Nations carries with it all its organizations this crime, its predecessors, its consequences, and its repercussions on society, and claim that the crime falls within the lists of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
It also calls on all civil organizations, media activists and human rights activists to stand together in solidarity with these women to expose the atrocities committed by the alliance and its mercenaries against Yemeni women.
On the other hand, the foundation puts the responsibility on Saudia Arabia and its alliance on all crimes targeting the Yemeni people, especially women and children, and demands investigation and criminal accountability of the alliance leaders and all those who prove their involvement in these crimes,
The United Nations and the Security Council are also responsible for their shameful silence and their disavowal of its duties, which has encouraged the Saudi alliance to continue to commit more war crimes against the Yemeni people.
The organization renews its call upon the international community, human rights organizations and all the honorable and free people in the world to respect their moral and humanitarian responsibilities in supporting the oppressed people in Yemen and condemning the horrific crimes committed by the Saudi alliance and pressuring the United Nations and specifically the Security Council to carry out their legal and moral duty to protect civilians, Forms of aggression.
In conclusion, the organization renews its call for the formation of an impartial international commission of inquiry to investigate all crimes and massacres committed by the Saudi alliance forces against civilians.
And working on the rapid release of women as soon as possible.
